Allahabad High Court Research Associates RA Recruitment 2025 Apply for 36 Post

The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad has released an official notification for the engagement of Research Associates on a contractual basis.

These positions are open for fresh law graduates who have completed or will complete their 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree in 2025.

The engagement will be for one year, extendable for another year based on performance, with a fixed honorarium of ₹25,000 per month.

Qualification

To be eligible for the Research Associate position, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

• A 5-year or 3-year LL.B. degree obtained in 2025 from a Bar Council of India recognized Law College or University.
• Candidates must have scored at least 55% marks in their LL.B. examination.
• Fresh graduates who have not practiced as an advocate or engaged in any profession/service are eligible.
• Candidates who have appeared in their final LL.B. exam in 2025 and are awaiting results can also apply.
• Knowledge of Computer Applications (Data Entry, Word Processing, etc.) is mandatory.

Age Criteria

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 26 years
• The age limit is calculated as of July 1, 2025.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of three stages:

1. Provisional Weightage Marks (20 Marks)
   • Based on academic performance and co-curricular activities (Moot Court, Research Paper Publication, etc.).
2. Screening Test (60 Marks)
   • A descriptive paper of 1 hour to assess legal knowledge and writing skills.
3. Interview Test (20 Marks)
   • Conducted by a panel to evaluate legal aptitude, communication skills, and subject knowledge.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained across these three stages.

Salary

• Fixed Honorarium: ₹25,000 per month (subject to revision).
• No additional allowances or benefits such as housing, transport, etc.
